About Me

Brandon Ligon is a writer, composer, and acoustic ecologist. Through soundscape research and storytelling, he aims to understand the lived realities of other species and how people connect to the environment through sound.

Ligon has undergraduate degrees in music composition and creative writing from Arizona State University. Currently, he is completing a Master of Science in Biology (Biology and Society) from the same university, with the goal of sharing the stories and sensory knowledge of humans and wildlife.

Dreams, night, and the nonhuman are major inspirations for his work, striving to reveal the hidden nuances to our daily lives.
